In August 2022, during a Q&A session via the official X account of “OTOMO The Complete Works,” a fan asked Katsuhiro Otomo, “Do you plan to return to drawing manga in the future?” Otomo’s answer was a pleasant surprise: he’s currently working on a new manga.
“Actually, I’m drawing it and it might be published somewhere before long. Making manga is hard,” said the creator who left the medium years ago to focus on anime.
